Career
In 1947-1950 was a professor at Tokyo Academy of Fine Arts. He was member of National Treasures Preservation Committee, and lecturer at Tokyo University of Fine Arts. The author of "Life and Works of Taigado" and "Sesshu." Founded Bijutsu Fukyukai (Fine Arts Popularization Society) to encourage the study of fine arts in 1915.
