Minister of Works, subsequently Minister of Commerce and Industries, Minister of Finance, Southern Cameroon Region. Federation Minister of Transport. Mines, Posts and Telecommunications of Cameroon 1961-1968.

Prime Minister of W. Cameroon 196872, also Vice-President Federation Republic of Cameroon 1970-1972. Minister of State 73. President National Assembly 1973-1988.

Co-President ACP-European Economic Community States Consultative Assembly 1978-1982. Formerly Chairman Board of directors Cameroon Railways, Chairman Higher Committee on Cameroon Ports. Has represented Cameroon at various international confs.

Chairman African Scout Committee 1973-1977. Chairman World Scout Committee 1977-1981. Commander, Ordre de la Valeur du Cameroun, Officier, Legion d'honneur and numerous other foreign decorations.
