Had made special study of Western life, living among cowboys and Indians. Had executed portrait equestrian statue of General J. B. Gordon, at Atlanta, Georgia., equestrian statue of Captain O’Neil, at Prescott, Arizona, portrait busts of Mayor C. A. Schieren, of Brooklyn, and late Simon Newcomb. Also Backus Memorial, Packer Institute, Brooklyn.
