Somei attended Waseda University.
Career
Somei Tsuchikura became director of Hokkaido Industrial Company, Japan Marine Product Industry Company and Amano Trading Company. He started his political career as lobbyist of Seiyiikai (Political Friend Party) and then became member of Ushigome Ward Assembly of Tokyo and member of Tokyo Municipal Assembly. He was elected six times to House of Representatives. Once belonged to Nakajima Faction of Seiyukai and since then has been antagonistic toward the Hatoyama e Kamakura Period.
