Career
She is one of the pioneers of the ballad popular song in Puerto Rico. Noemí was raised in Old San Juan and when she was thirteen moved to Rio Piedras. She went to California in 1962 in order to train at the Pasadena Playhouse Studio, returning to Puerto Rico after a year.
In 2003, she moved to Miami, where she has worked in telenovelas.
She has a son with Venezuelan singer, Hector Cabrera.
