Worked at Tsecouras, Cocalis & Associates (Athens) specializing in Corporate, Contract, Commercial, Foreign Investment, Banking, Trademark, Fiscal, Patent, Insurance and Franchise Law, Advertising & Marketing, Agency & Distributorship, International Arbitration, Competition, Media, Environmental, Mergers & Acquisitions, Telecommunications. Admitted to the bar, 1995, Greece. The firm has concentrated on corporate clients, since the early years of this century.
The original driving force, the late Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs John Sofianopoulos, together with Nicholas Tsecouras, not only made the firm one of the most important ones in the early days of Greek industry, but also gave it an international scope.
From the early 1960"s the firm has been active in international trade, oil trading and the insurance business. From the mid 1970"s, it has been active with foreign investment, mergers and acquisitions.
Since the late 1980"s, the firm has acquired considerable experience in dealing with the former Soviet Union and East European countries neighbouring to Greece. The firm has been retained by the public sector for several important projects, including the natural gas contracts between Greece-former Soviet Union and Greece-Algeria.
The client base, besides local corporations, is mainly Western European, North American and Japanese.
