A disciple of Ippii Nishizawa.
Career
He wrote plays for the Toyotakeza theater in Osaka from 1726. Wrote 30 plays until 1740, including those in which other writers collaborated. Afterward he wrote for the Takemotoza theater, jointly with Izumo Takeda, Shoraku Miyoshi and others.
