Assumed name of Fane, 1875. Comptroller of Lord Chamberlain Department and Gentle- 1630 man Usher to the late Queen and late King. Resigned 1901. P.C.; Imperial Service Order; Gentleman Ushei to the Sword of State and to the King; Bath King at Arms since 1904.
