He has represented such clients as Donald Trump in a complex real estate transaction and litigation in Aspen, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in a workout involving the acquisition, rezoning, and sale of over 1000 acres in Snowmass Village, and the Aspen Institute in litigation and real estate matters. In 1983 he was appointed by the United States.
Bankruptcy Court to act as C.E.O. of the Cantrup Estate, a successful Chapter 11 reorganization involving over $42 million in Aspen real estate, including the present site of the Ritz Carlton Hotel.
