He has played on the Los Angeles studio albums Rips the Covers Office, Tales from the Strip, Covered in, and Hollywood Forever, and the Los Angeles live album Loud and Dangerous: Live from Hollywood. He authored a book, Confessions of a Replacement Rockstar in 2009. During the 2005 American Metal Blast Tour, Stacey was humorously interviewed by rock & roll comic Community College Banana.
In 2009 Stacey released his first Guitar Instrumental album called "" on Cleopatra Records At the end of 2012, Stacey decided to leave Los Angeles to pursue more personal opportunities for performing and songwriting.
He is currently working with Sony Music designing and writing guitar loop packages. Stacey was also the last artist to work with the legendary producer Andy Johns before his untimely death in April 2013.
