Career
Worked at Boone, Beale, Carpenter & Cosby (Richmond, Virginia) specializing in Trial and Appellate Practice in State and Federal Courts including Criminal and Personal Injury. Admitted to the bar, 1969, Virginia. (Also practicing individually).
Boone, Beale, Carpenter and Cosby was founded in 1980 by David East. Boone.
As a Law Clerk to a United States District Judge, Mr. Boone had envisioned creating a small law firm which would specialize in criminal defense.
Over the years, this goal was realized by associating attorneys with a keen interest and background in this field The firm represents individuals charged with criminal offenses before both Federal and State Courts in Virginia and a host of other states.
In recent years, the firm has expanded into the field of personal injury.
Today, the firm enjoys an excellent reputation in both fields of law which is evidenced by the fact that most of the members of the law firm have been selected by various bar organizations to be key speakers in Continuing Legal Education Seminars and by local colleges and universities to serve as adjunct faculty and guest lecturers.
