Stanley Matthews was born in 1892 at Glendale, Ohio, United States.

Education

He received a formal education at Princeton University where he graduated in 1913, and studied architecture at Columbia University.

Career

Mr. Matthews established practice in Cincinnati in 1920 and for twenty years was engaged in the planning and/or erection of large business and public structures in the city. The Children's Hospital and Denton Building, in association with the late A. O. Eisner were among his most important works.
