Education

Student Hamlin U., 1913-1915. Student of University Minnesota, 1915-1917, Master of Science (honorary), 1953. Graduated from Army War College, 1938.

Career

Entered United States Army, 1917, advanced through grades to Lieutenant general, 1954. Served in Iceland, 1942-1943, Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces, Europe, 1944-1947. Deputy for guided missiles and atomic energy General Staff, United States Army, also member military liaison committee A.E.C., 1950-1952.

Commanding general Fort Bliss, Texas, 1952-1954. Commanding general Army Antiaircraft command, 1954-1957. Technical adviser Hughes Aircraft Company, Fullerton, California, since 1957.
