Stefanka began writing poetry during her school years but started publishing her works later. Her first book, Drops of Resin, was published in 2002. She gained recognition with her poetry collection Unspoken Words, for which she received the People’s Enlightener 2014 for Poetry award from the Union of Free Writers in Bulgaria (UFWB). In 2020, she published Ghostly Moon, which includes the cycles The Book of Life, Fragments -2, and Land of Proud Bulgarians, affirming her place in contemporary Bulgarian poetry.

For Stefka Andreeva, writing poetry is a continuous journey toward a horizon that always moves ahead of the traveler without ever being fully reached. One can only gaze at it and strive to touch it, not realizing that this horizon is, in fact, within oneself.
