Professor, Leningrad Technology Institute, since 1930. Director, laboratory, Institute of High-Molecular Compounds, USSR Academy of Science, Leningrad. Editor, journal “Obshchaya khimiya” (General Chemistry), since 1946.
Honoured Worker of Science and Technology of Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. 1915-1930 teacher, then Professor, Petrograd, now Leningrad University. Specialist on high-molecular compounds.
Basic works deal with hydroxyaldehyde and oxyketones.
