1941 finished Vitebsk Pedagogical Colleague,
graduated from Gomel Pedagogical Institute, Academy of Social Sciences in Moscow, 1954 PhD (economics).
1941 was sent as a caregiver to the Lednyansky orphanage. Was assigned to Gorky district and then to Belynichi district as a secretary of the Communist Party by the Headquarters of the partisan movement. Afterwards he worked as an Assistant Commissioner of Partisan Brigade.
1954 Janchenko was assigned to the Belorussian State University to work as an assistant professor. From 1965 till 1969 and during the period of 1978-1989 Janchenko was the Head of the Department of Political Economy.
During the period of 1965-1966 on his own initiative the Department of Political Economy on the Faculty of Law of BSU was opened to prepare political economists to work in universities and research institutes. 1973 Janchenko became Doctor of Economic Sciences, 1976 he became professor.
Due to his efforts, concerns and will a treatise of the Belorussian economist was published. S. M. Oskerko "Modest Plan of Reorganization of Markgrafschaft Brandenburg" that was presented to the King of Prussia, Frederick II. His Chair of the political economy also prepared " The Dictionary of Categories of Economic Theory".
Professor Janchenko was noted for the depth of thought, the ability to unite the members of the scientific staff in the implementation of the research programs, to increase their scientific and pedagogical level giving all the strength to the teaching of the youth.
