Inspector, Belorussian People's Commissariat of Education and head of latter’s Sciences Terminology Commission. 1922-1925 chairman, Institute of Belorussian Culture and head of its Commission to Compile a Dictionary of Spoken Belorussian. 1925-1927 chairman, Language and Literature Department, and chairman.

Summer 1930 arrested by People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs. December 1930 expelled from Belorussian Academy of Sciences.
