Radzevich, Stepan Pavlovich was born on February 19, 1953 in Bila Tserkva, Kyiv, Ukraine. He is the son of Pavlo Stepanovich Radzevich and Anna Pavlivna (Oblomiy) Radzevich.
He received a Master of Science from Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1976 and a Doctor of Philosophy from the same institution in 1982. He later earned a Doctor of Science from Tula Polytechnic Institute in Russia in 1991. In 1995, he was awarded an honorary doctorate from Dnieprodzerzhinsk State Technical University in Ukraine.
Radzevich began his academic career at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1976 as an assistant professor, serving in this role until 1982. He was then promoted to associate professor, a position he held from 1982 to 1991, contributing to teaching and research in mechanical engineering.
Since 1991, he has served as a professor at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where he has been engaged in advanced research and higher education in mechanical engineering. His work has focused on the theory of mechanisms and machines and engineering science.
From 1993 to 1998, he was also a visiting scholar at Michigan State University in East Lansing, where he participated in international academic collaboration and research.
Radzevich is a member of several professional and scientific organizations, including the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the International Academy of Sciences and Arts, the National Ukrainian Committee on Theory of Mechanisms and Machines, the Ukrainian Academy of Higher Education Sciences, the New York Academy of Sciences, and the Rotary Club.
