By 1989, Conroy"s work had already gained much recognition and praise in the United Kingdom and internationally. The artist has remained in Scotland, where he currently lives and works. He is represented by the distinguished London gallery Marlborough Fine Art, and through the gallery has had solo exhibitions in London, Manchester, Glasgow, New York and Madrid, and has shown in museums in Aix-en-Provence and Johannesburg.
