Career

Missionary Dutch Reformed Church in the states west of Mississippi River, 1882-1902, retiring on account of ill health. Has devoted much time to horticulture and botany. Proprietor Island Nurseries, Vashon, Washington Under commission of Governor Lister of Washington, organized and drilled 105 men for the war, 1918.
