Only positive response came from Writers House literary agent Jodie Reamer. Twilight's original title was Forks, but upon the intention of Jodie Reamer it was changed to Twilight. Stephenie and the Jodie worked together on polishing Twilight's manuscript. At a 2003 auction, eight publishing houses bid for rights to publish Twilight. In November she signed a $750,000 worth contract for three books with Little, Brown and Company, a publishing company.
On 5 October 2005, Twilight was published in 75,000 copies. Just in USA Twilight was sold in more that 2.2 million copies.
