Career
Baker was a big part of the Middlesbrough squad that made both fa cup and Coca Cola cup in same season and unfortunately relegated too, he made over 15 appearances in the premier league but most games came when in promotion year back to the premier league. He suffered two cruciate ligament injuries in the space of three year, but Robson kept faith. Baker joined Scarborough, initially on loan from Middlesbrough, in 2001, and went on to make more than 100 Conference appearances for them.
He was released at the end of the 2005-2006 season.
He signed for Gateshead in July 2006, but missed the whole of the 2007-2008 season with injury.
