Career
Until 1986 he worked for military intelligence. His stay in Berlin turned him from a conservative into an outspoken liberal militant. His writings were sharply critical of business propaganda of the overclass and Central Intelligence Agency.
He died of a gunshot wound under unclear circumstances.
He was found on the 39th floor in the restroom of the offices of Richard Mellon Scaife inside One Oxford Center, Pittsburgh.
