Career
He played for 14 years, including his time in the minors. The most important start of his professional career came on October 4, 1999, when his Cincinnati Reds faced the New York Mets in a one-game playoff to determine final playoff spot in the National League. He was the losing pitcher in a 5-0 Reds loss, eliminating the team from the playoffs.
Parris is an alumnus of Joliet West High School and the University of Saint Francis.
