Varsano’s aviation career began in 1975 with his first job at Street St. Petersburg’s Clearwater International Airport, Florida. He then followed on to work at the American Association of Airport Executives and then the General Aviation Manufacturers Association Washington District of Columbia He is also a qualified single and multiple-engine commercial instrument-rated pilot. During this period Steve Varsano also held positions in the catering and real estate industries.

In January 2012 Varsano launched, the world"s first corporate aviation showroom in London, United Kingdom. is situated on Hyde Park Corner located between Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Mayfair. Varsano is quoted in Business Jet Traveler Magazine as saying "My idea was to have a place where clients could really get a feel for the space.
I had sketches, lists, a business plan I kept refining. I knew that I would need a super combination of environment, technology and information to make it worth the client coming in"
uses a store-front concept. uses an iPad App to help customers evaluate aircraft options and more recently (December, 2012) developed an Cabin Interior Completion App to improve the client experience.
The showroom contains a full-size mock-up of an Airbus ACJ319 cabin that fills the window and life-size schematics of a range of corporate jets can be viewed on a 26 ft video wall.
Varsano is also on the Board of Directors of XOJET and Virgin Galactic.
