Career
Whiteman first started his career in a Led Zeppelin cover band and joined Kix in 1978 when they were known as "The Shooze". The group has released seven studio albums and one live album with Whiteman on vocals, however the band went on hiatus in 1996 due to growing tensions in the band and poor record sales of their album $how Bu$ine$$. Whiteman then later went on to form Funny Money with Billy Andrews that same year and the group has put out four studio albums since its founding.
Whiteman is also known to give vocal lessons in the Baltimore area, one of his students being Lzzy Hale.
