Career
A pitcher, Kent plays for the Canberra Cavalry in the Australian Baseball League. Kent signed with the Atlanta Braves as an international free agent in 2006. The Braves released Kent and he signed with the Kansas City Royals.
Kent competed in the 2011 Baseball World Cup.
Membership
He has also played in minor league baseball as a member of the Atlanta Braves organisation and for the Australian national baseball team in international competitions. While a member of the Braves organisation, he competed in the Australian Baseball League for the Canberra Cavalry.
