Career
Rigg began his senior career with Northern League outfit Penrith F.C. He had previously represented Keswick at youth level While playing for Penrith he was employed as a forester for the National Trust. In July 2014, he was signed by his local (Cumbrian) League Two club Carlisle United on a one-year professional contract.
He was signed after impressing in a two-week trial.
On 13th November 2014, Rigg signed a new one year deal keeping him at the club until the summer of 2016. On 26th November 2015, Rigg signed for National League Premier side Barrow until January 2016.
On his debut for Barrow, Rigg was stretchered off minutes after coming on as a substitute. He had suffered ligament damage which was detected after Rigg’s injured ankle was x-rayed at hospital in Kendal, His loan spell was ended due to the injury.
