Stratton Sclavos

Education

Sclavos has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis.

Career

Sclavos joined VeriSign in 1995 as one of its first employees. Sclavos also sits on the board of directors of several public companies including Intuit, Juniper Networks, and Salesforce.com. Sclavos joined the company as one of its first employees in July 1995, and was at the helm as it grew to 4,000 employees through growth and acquisitions.

After 12 years as Chief Executive Officer, Sclavos resigned in May 2007.

Sclavos now works for Radar Partners, a Palo Alto-based venture capital firm.

Achievements

• In June 2002, he was honored with the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Northern California. He was also honored with the 2001 Morgan Stanley Morgan Leadership Award for Global Commerce and named to Forbes" Top 50 Chief executive officers list.
