She became the number one ranked amateur in the world in October 2013. Born in Busan, South of Korea, Oh has played golf since the age of nine. In 2009, at 12, she was the youngest player to ever qualify for the Women"s Australian Open.
Oh turned professional in the fall of 2014.
She made it to the final stage of the 2014 LPGA Qualifying School, but failed to earn an LPGA Tour card, leaving her with eligibility on the satellite Symetra Tour. 2010 Victorian Girls Championship Ladies European Tour (1) ALPG Tour wins (1) Amateur Espirito Santo Trophy (representing Australia): 2014 (winners).
