Education
Graduated from Keio University and later taught there before going to Europe for further studies and research in history.
Career
Upon his return to Tokyo he taught at the Tokyo University of Commerce, and won renown as a wellread scholar. Among the books he wrote on history were "European Party Government" and a treatise on Dawson's "History of Mongolia."
