Career
After graduating from Waseda University joined the editorial staff of Yomiuri Shimbun, which he left to become a commentator for silent films.
After the advent of talking pictures became a professional entertainer and master of ceremonies besides being a film actor. Is now a radio player on the staff of NHK.
Is a competent writer of stray notes and light essays.
