Career
She ran for the National Assembly seat from Constituency NA-69 in the Pakistani general election, 2002 on National Alliance ticket, in Pakistani general election, 2008 on PML-Q ticket & in Pakistani general election, 2013 on PML-North ticket. Securing the seat all three times. However she was disqualified from her seat of National Assembly by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on account of her fake degree on 29 October 2013.
She headed the Ministry of Women Development and Ministry of Youth Affairs in the government of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz.
