Fairfield, Sumner Lincoln was born on June 25, 1803 in Warwick, Massachusetts, United States. Son of Abner and Lucy (Lincoln) Fairfield.
From 1818 to 1820, he studied at Brown University, but he was compelled to leave after 2 years.
