From April 1937 until his death, he was Revenue Member in the Punjab Executive Council of Sir Sikandar Hayat Khan. He was appointed Companion of the Order of the Indian Empire ( International Commission on Illumination) in the 1920 New Year Honours and was knighted in 1926.
Membership
In 1921 he was appointed Revenue Member of the Governor"s Executive Council of the Punjab.
