Dr. Kim received his B.S. and M.S. at Seoul National University in 1963 and 1965, respectively. In 1969, he received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the University of Utah under Professor Henry Eyring.
Dr. Kim has made considerable contributions to and is considered a pioneer in drug delivery. He is currently a Fellow in the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, Biomaterials Society and American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. Dr. Kim has trained more than 100 scientists from 13 countries, has 25 U.S. Patents and more than 550 publications.
In addition to his contributions to academia, Dr. Kim is a successful entrepreneur. He has two children.
