Development of a technology for improving grain quality of rainy sorghum. Research in genetic studies of grain mould resistance and mechanisams of resistance in sorghum worked out, utilized to develop grain mould resistance stocks. Research in genetics of grain size, shape, luster, grain hardness worked out and developed superior grain quality stocks.
Research in genetics of sweet stalk in sorghum and developed male sterile lines with high sugar content in sorghum. Research in characterizing 70 released sorghum genotypes for DUS teating traits.
