PATIL, Suryakanta Jayawantrao was born on August 15, 1948 in Waiphana Taluka-Hadgaon, District Nandad, Maharashtra. Daughter of the late Jayawantrao Patil.


Marathwada University, Bachelor of Arts.


Later in 2014, resigned from party and joined Bhartiya Janata Party along with Dr. Madhavrao Kinhalkar. She was the Minister of State in the Ministry of Rural Development and Minister of State in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
