Occasionally she teaches an adult creative writing class in her local school system. She has developed two programs for students who want to become dog trainers and canine behavior consultants formally at Kutztown University. Susan also teaches at Westminster MD as an adjunct professor.

The two most important things that Susan Bulanda stresses to her students - to read and to write every day, even if it is only for thirty minutes. She is sure, a writer must learn to write on demand, not only when in the mood.
Quotations:

''I like to present complex topics and information in a manner that is easy to understand and enjoyable to read. My most popular books are about search and rescue.''
