She was the official representative of Venezuela at the Mission World 2005 pageant held in Sanya, China on December 1, 2005. Carrizo, who is 5 ft 10 in (178 m) tall, competed in the national beauty pageant Mission Venezuela 2005, on September 15, 2005 representing Costa Oriental, and won the title of Mission World Venezuela. Earlier, she has also won the Best Smile award.
