Susan Marie Teeters

Background

Teeters was born on July 22, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States; the daughter of Kenneth Joe Wilbum and Evelyn (Kim) Wilburn.

Education

Teeters received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 1982.

Career

Teeters began her career as a chemist at Monsanto Chemical Company in 1982. Two years later she took the same position at Occidental Petroleum. Then in 1986, Susan was appointed a senior chemist at Arco Chemical Company. In 1988, she took a position of a business manager at that company. Since 1990 Teeters has been a senior marketing specialist at Petrolite Corporation (nowadays Baker Hughes).

Teeters is a member of American Society for Testing and Materials, Technical Association of Pulp and Paper Industry, American Chemical Society and Adhesives and Sealants Council.

On August 25, 1984 Susan Teeters married Dale Carl Teeters.
