Studied at King’s College Taunton. Plymouth College.
After leaving school, worked for three years in architect’s office as articled pupil. Gave up architecture. Studied art in Paris for three years under Raphael Collin and G. Courtois.
Worked in London for some years illustrating for various publications. Exhibited water-colours at R.A., R.I., Paris Salon, Liverpool, Manchester, and other provincial Art Galleries. Worked in Southern Brittany and North Wales.
Associate Royal Society of Painters in Water-Colours, 1906. Club: Chelsea Arts.
Spouse 1902, Constance (d. 1910), y.daughter of late Frank James of Merthyr Tydfil, solicitor.
