Gee played for clubs in the American West-League and the English FA Women"s Premier League before joining Cork Women"s Football Club in the Women"s National League. She also represented the Republic of Ireland at senior international level Gee was handed her senior Republic of Ireland debut in June 1998, a World Cup qualifier against Belarus in Drogheda.
