T. KALNIN’, USSR Latvian Party official. Communist Party member from 1903.
KALNIN’, T. was born in 1871.
1900 began working for underground Social-Democratic groups. Smuggled illegal literature from abroad and did Party work in Riga. From 1904 in charge of underground printing-shop of Central Committee, Lat Social-Democratic Workers’ Party, where the newspaper “Zihna” was printed ¡member, Riga Committee, Lat Social-Democratic Workers’ Party.
1905-1907 took active part in Revol in Lat. Deleg, 5th Russian Social-Democratic Workers’ Party Congress, London. Deleg, several congresses of Lat Social-Democratic Workers’ Party and Social-Democratic Party of Lat Kray.
1908 sentenced to four years at hard labor after discovery of underground press. After serving sentence exiled to Siberia. After 1917 October Revol worked for Irkutsk cooperative system.
From 1920 worked for Foreign Bureau, Central Committee, Communist Party Lat. Later transferred to other Party and government work.
Religion doesn't give equal treatment to women and therefore contradicts basic human rights.
