Mr. Ross arrived in this country during the late 19th century and about 1890 settled in San Francisco. In practice during later years under the name of Thomas P. Ross, he was known as architect of the Clune Office Building; the Albert Pike Memorial Building; Jefferson Apartment Hotel, the West Side Christian Church, and in association with A. W. Burgess of Los Angeles, the Zellerbach Building. After thirty or more years of practice in San Francisco Mr. Ross retired during the 40's to his home in Santa Cruz where his death occured later.
He had been a member of the Northern California Chapter after 1916.
