Tachibana no-Shigenobu was a Japanese court official. Little is known about him though records show that he lived during the early Heian Period.
Tachibana no-Shigenobu was born circa 960.
Tachibana was originally a junior secretary attached to the Imperial Court, during the time the Fujiwara family rose to power. Fujiwara was a despot so Shigenobu conspired with Mitsunaka Minamoto, Chiharu Fujiwara and others to end the rule of Fujiwara and put Prince Tamehira in power.
