Education
He graduating from Keio University, visited South America via France (1931) to make a close study of music there.
Career
He wrote many criticisms on the Argentine tango. Tadao Takahashi was also a critic of Central American music, and has published many articles on the subject after the end of World War II.
He was a conductor, choreographer and producer of stage shows. He conducted the music for Orchestra Tipika at Nippon Theatre, Tokyo.
