Career
He primarily plays as a central defender, but has also operated at right back. After working his way through the JEF United Ichihara youth system, Takeda signed a professional contract in 2005. In July 2008, he transferred to Fagiano Okayama.
Takeda has not been capped for either the Japanese or Malaysian national football teams.
He is also qualified to play for Malaysia as it is his birthplace.
