Tadayoshi was formerly a samurai in Hizen Province (Saga Prefecture).
Tadayoshi was born in 1572 in Japan.
Tadayoshi went to Tokyo in 1596 and became a disciple of Meiju Umetate.
Tadayoshi returned to his native place in 1598 and went to Tokyo again in 1624 and was granted the title of Musashi-Daijo. Later he changed his name to Tadahiro and returned to his native place the same year. Like most representative of the modern sword smiths in Hizen, he had many disciples.
