In 1904 Taizo Kurata graduated from Kurume Commercial School.
Career
In 1918 Taizo Kurata became president of Tsuchiya Tabi Gomei Kaisha (Tsuchiya Tabi Socks Manufacturing Unlimited Partnership). In 1949 he continued as president after that company was renamed Nikka Rubber Company. Taizo Kurata became counselor of Kurume Chamber of Commerce & Industry in 1946 and president of Tagawa Sangyo (Industrial) Company, chairman of Kyushu Shoemakers’ Association and chairman of Kurume Municipal Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He held additional posts of counselor of Japan Rubber Industry Association and director of Federation of Economic Organizations.
